Your copyright in the UK
In the UK, copyright arises automatically under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as soon as you create original photos, videos or writing. There is no official UK copyright register, and you do not need to register anything to have pirated copies removed.
Most pirate and leak sites are hosted outside the UK, and Google is a US company, so effective removal usually means using both UK copyright notices and US DMCA notices. We handle both.
What our UK takedown service includes
- Searching for copies of your content across leak sites, forums and file hosts
- Copyright notices to websites, UK and international hosting providers and CDNs
- Removal from Google and Bing search results
- Takedowns on Telegram, Discord, Reddit and X
- Ongoing monitoring for re-uploads
- A UK point of contact on London time
When content is intimate or posted without consent
Sharing intimate images of someone without their consent is a criminal offence in England and Wales, and platforms have duties under the Online Safety Act to deal with this content. Where it applies, we use these routes alongside copyright takedowns, and we can point you to support services if you want to report to the police.
Protection for creators in the UK and USA
We are based in London and work for creators on both sides of the Atlantic. Copyright in your photos and videos exists automatically the moment you create them, in the UK under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and in the US under the Copyright Act. You do not need to register anything to send a takedown.
We send notices under the US DMCA to US-based hosts and search engines, and copyright notices under UK and EU rules where they apply. Where leaked content involves intimate images shared without consent, there are additional routes: the US TAKE IT DOWN Act requires covered platforms to remove reported non-consensual intimate images within 48 hours, and in the UK sharing intimate images without consent is a criminal offence.
Confidential from the first message
You never need to send us explicit material. Share your creator names and links, and we handle the rest discreetly.

Do you work with UK creators and businesses?
Yes. We are based in London and most of our team works on UK time. We also work with creators in the US and worldwide.
Do I need to register my copyright in the UK?
No. There is no official UK copyright register; copyright is automatic. Some services offer independent dated records of your work, which can help as evidence, but they are not required for takedowns.
Can you remove content from sites hosted outside the UK?
Yes. Most leak sites are overseas, but they rely on hosts, CDNs and search engines that act on copyright notices, so removal is usually still possible.
How quickly do takedowns work?
Many platforms and search engines act within days of a valid notice. Sites that ignore notices are escalated to their hosting providers and removed from search results.
